Assistant Accountant – Hospitality Group Role: Assistant Accountant Location: London 4 days in the office, 1 from home Salary: €30k to € 37.5k We are working with a fast-growing hospitality brand that is leading the way within the restaurant and catering industry. They’ve already had a huge success and are looking to expand their operation over the next years. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team, where you will be supporting the payroll manager and senior assistant accountant with the month’s end accounts and reports. You will need to possess incredible communication, analytical and organisation skills and be part qualified ACCA. Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site business is also essential for this role. Job Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts for Sites including P&L’s variance analysis and commentaries Assist with the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Prepare and distribute the weekly P&L flash forecast reporting and assist the business with periodic analytical information Prepare and deliver on all key weekly objectives ensuring OKRs are met Prepare and deliver the month-end closing processes ensuring all relevant month end journals – accruals, prepayments, stock, depreciation, deferred revenue are accurately recorded Assist with budgeting and forecasting Provide support for two accounts assistant making sure Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions run effectively Developing and maintaining a strong commercial relationship with all key stakeholders Assist with ensuring all relevant financial controls and regulatory reporting is embedded within the department. The successful candidate: Disciplined, high level of integrity Part Qualified Accountant or equivalent e. g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, AATAdvanced Excel knowledge with exposure to Pivot Tables and Complex Formulas The ability to work well under pressure and use own initiative to problem solve Organised with.
