Rita was born September 3rd and will be available for adoption in early November. She isbeing fostered in Tallahassee, FL (Leon County). We are currentlytaking applications and pre-approvals for this litter with a $100 deposit (which will be put toward the adoption fee). Her mom, Bella is an Australian cattle dog who is18 months old. We are not sure what the puppies are a mix of besides cattle dog. Rita was named after Rita Coolidge, a Florida State University graduate who is an accomplished recording artist. Rita puppy is smart, beautiful, and fun. She loves to follow her human around and has a great personality.Consideration will be given to theneeds of the cattle dog breed. Like any puppy, Rita will require housebreaking and training. Remember that puppies should be let out every hour or 2. Rita willgo home on a spay/neuter contract - once proof of alteration is received within the specified timeframe, $50 of the adoption donation can be refunded. Rita is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines. We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogsfrom municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility.
