I build custom deer feeders and this is one that was ordered, but never picked up. This feeder features a 55-gallon drum with galvanized lid and lock ring. The lid has a rubber gasket making it weather proof. The locking ring is easy to use. The feeder has welded on leg stubs that are made of 1.25" angle iron. Into these stubs slide 80" long legs that are 14 gage 1.5" square tubing. This combination makes the feeder very solid and sturdy. It won't wobble around like inferior box store brands. There is an interior, galvanized funnel that reduces waste and improves performance. This particular feeder has a 6 volt motor / digital timer by Wildgame Innovations. While this isn't the "top of the line brand", I've found them to be very reliable and personally have some running going on 6 years without an issue whatsoever. My shop is in Montague, but I can usually meet in Wichita Falls at no charge. Of course, I do build these on a custom basis if you would like a feeder built to your specs.
