Emma is a beautiful and sweet Calico girl. She came to us with her Tuxedo colored brother. Emma is FIV + currently. Our home is that since her brother is negative, she will convert with in the next 6 weeks to negative also. She is being well cared for and is feeling good.It would be best if she was the only cat, however, if she got along well with a current cat, transmission would be unlikely. We would be happy to talk to you personally about her.Emma will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and dewormed prior to adoption.Inquiries with in 1 hour of Bloomington and 30 minutes from Rochester.Adoption fee is $160 plus sales tax. A no declaw policy applies.FIV is a cat specific virus.Humans cannot become infected with FIV.FIV cats can lead long, healthy lives with few or no symptoms.FIV isnt easily passed between cats though normal day-to-day activities.A spayed or neutered cat is extremely unlikely to spread the disease to other healthy cats if introduced properly. FIV+ cats should be kept as healthy as you can possibly keep them.FIV+ cats must remain indoors, free from stress, fed a high-quality diet, and have routine veterinary exams at least every 6 months.
