Job Description The Continuous Improvement Manager, using their expert level command of Lean and Six Sigma tools along with knowledge of product and production processes, will work with cross functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to support organizational targets that impact cost and quality metrics. Responsibilities: Act as a coach and trainer for continuous improvement methodologies imbedding lean data thinking into others. Respectfully challenge the status quo and encourage fellow employees to improve every day. Implement a lean management system and ensure that all elements such as standardized processes, problem solving and governance are in place to drive sustainable results. Utilize value stream mapping and various lean tools to select the right blend of kaizen events and projects that drive business improvement. Lead and facilitate lean activities such as kaizen events and lean process reviews. Work with the event or project leader and prepare for kaizen events using A3 techniques Coordinate with third party lean consultants where applicable. Conduct lean backssments and cultural reviews, and develop an action plan, to address opportunities for improvement.
