We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Crawley, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, youll be working in a brand-new 12 bed CAMHS service for 12-18 year olds. This role is a full-time position, with most hours will be worked on a shift system covering 13 days across each 28-day period. Your main responsibilities as a Senior Mental Health Nurse: - Deputising for the Ward Manager in co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment with 24-hour responsibility for staffing. - Participate fully with the multidisciplinary team and undertake direct patient care. - Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees, and visitors. - Identify and evaluate potential improvements to the service. - Support and work with others to help them understand the need for change and adapt to it. - Evaluate the extent to which legislation and organisational policies.
