Job Advert: Quality Control Technician Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in medical devices My Client, a leading company in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Quality Control Technician. Role Title: Quality Control Technician Reporting to: Team Leader – Quality Control Role Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities: Conduct backssment, partial disassembly, repair, and function testing of a range of medical products, including endoscopes and related devices. Perform fault finding on various types of endoscopes and related products. Prepare detailed inspection reports to guide workshops on repair requirements. Conduct final inspection, testing, and packing of repaired products. Utilize PC equipment for recording technical information and other departmental tasks goods receipt/despatch. Collaborate with workshop and logistics staff to ensure effective communication. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Quality Management System requirements. Work towards maintaining company and personal quality goals and objectives. Handle administrative duties related to the repair process. Capability Profile: Skills: Mechanical/electronic aptitude or interest Essential Ability to follow processes/technical manuals Essential Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team Essential Ability to identify defects in workmanship Essential Computer literate with the ability to enter and interpret repair information Essential Experience: Previous experience in a quality control or inspection-related role Essential Previous experience working with or handling medical devices Desirable.
