An existing client of Simpson Judge are on the hunt for an Accounts Assistant to join them in 2023 and have released the below as a permanent full-time position. You will report into the Financial Controller and form part of an important HQ support team for the business, read on to see if the role is of interest to you. Your main duties will include: Daily bank reconciliation into Sage Intacct posting of customer receipts and remittance allocations, posting General Ledger payments and receipts ensuring the correct VAT treatment? Banking cheques at the local branch? Monthly invoicing Via imports and Manual process? Maintain monthly billing bible? Resolving account queries via telephone and email? Management of cash flow records? Balance sheet reconciliation? Support Credit Control with Invoice Queries Candidate profile? A positive, can-do attitude. Flexibility with working hours to ensure important deadlines are met. A willingness to learn and keen to progress within finance. A proactive approach to tasks. Excellent spreadsheet skills. Can work autonomously as well as part of a team. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a professional outlook and commitment to providing the highest quality customer service. Be an excellent verbal & written communicator with attention to detail? Have a proven track record in a similar role? Studying AAT Level 3 (or equivalent) and above.? Accounts experience within a professional setting. In return you will receive: This is a permanent full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm. In return we can offer a salary starting at £25,000 (dependant on experience), a contributory pension scheme and 25 days holiday + bank holidays for the right candidate we would look to invest in your future and offer the opportunity for you to undergo a professional qualification, paid for by the Company.
