Our residences include Graduate House, Knox Residence, Chestnut Residence, and Spadina-Susinteraction Student Residence (opening in 2024). The S&E Student Residences endeavour to provide a residence experience that fosters community engagement, celebrates diversity, and keeps equity and inclusion at the forefront of our decision making and approach. Our goal is to offer our residents the opportunity to live in an environment that provides programming, services, and interactions that positively contribute to their personal growth and academic success during their time at the University of Toronto. Your opportunity: Under the direction of the Manager, Building Operations and Services, the Supervisor, Building Operations and Services, is responsible for assisting the Manager in delivering a high standard of facility maintenance, client service, and user experience for Chestnut's student residents, hotel and conference guests, and fellow staff. The Supervisor, directs the day-to-day activities of the operations team, implements quality assurance programs, provides coaching and support to team members, and reviews processes and procedures to ensure the efficient, effective, and safe operations of the department. The Supervisor plays a key role in responding to building emergencies and critical incidents. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting routine building inspections Identifying and reporting facility repair and/or maintenance needs Identifying and resolving minor building security issues Troubleshooting and resolving routine maintenance requests Liaising between clients and Facilities Resolving minor complaints within.
