Pauly is a cute 6-1/2 year old male Pug/Beagle mix (Puggle) who was brought to the HSOV late in the afternoon on October 19, 2023 by a Good Samaritan after Pauley had been found near the Beverly Center Elementary School on Fifth Street in Beverly Ohio. Pauly was not wearing a collar, and he was not micrchipped. This little sweetheart has a tan short smooth coat with a small patch of cream/white on his chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown expressive eyes, a squishy muzzle, and large floppy ears which frame his face. Pauly has a sweet, outgoing personality. He was eager to meet a beautiful black female Labrador Retriever (Syren) who was having her glamour photos taken when Pauly pranced across the parking lot on his way into the shelter .. Pauly and Syren were happy to make each other's acquaintance and had quite a tail-wagging session going on while they introduced themselves to each other. The Good Samaritan who brought Pauly to the shelter (and had tried in vain to locate his family by posting his pictures on Facebook earlier in the day) told us that she'd discovered Pauly knew several commands while he was with her .. So surely someone must be missing this boy. Pauly currently weighs 45 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Pauly will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pauly, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
