Dakota is a two-year-old, 55-pound female lab mix adopted from a GA shelter then promptly tied up in the adopters’ backyard. The shelter finally cited the family for tying the dog out and they relocated her to their garage. ALR agreed to take her when a volunteer convinced the family to surrender her. While we’re sad Dakota had to endure that, we’re happy she landed with us. She’s dog and kid-friendly and loves people.
