Join a thriving practice with high patient volume – hit the ground running- utilizing state-of-the-art optometry equipment and advanced modalities. New Graduates and experienced ODs welcome! About the Job: They are seeking a highly motivated and passionate optometrist to help them provide excellent vision care services to their patients in long-term care facilities. Some of the responsibilities include: perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts perform dilated exams provide diabetic evaluations treatment of infection and injury Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease Comfortable working with the geriatric population Requirements Ideal Candidate will: Must hold an OD License Must have a valid driver’s license Must have her/his own means of transportation Must be willing to meet with 21-25 patients a day Must be willing to travel to different nursing facilities Benefits WE REWARD OUR DOCTORS WELL AND OFFER BENEFITS INCLUDING: Malpractice Reimbursement Federal Mileage reimbursement Independent work environment Health Insurance Paid Time Off Job Types: Full-time and Part-time available Pay Potential: $170,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year for full-time Schedule: 8 hour shift
