Jayna is a female tabby kitten approx. 4 months old. She has a soft short-haired coat of gray, brown and black with beautiful markings throughout. Jayna's pretty face is highlighted in white around her eyes and mouth. A kind woman found her limping across a country road and brought her to the shelter and was taken into foster care. Jayna, whose name means “God is gracious”, had an injury at birth to her rear right leg, but that doesn’t stop her! Born on or near the Fourth of July, this is a determined, feisty kitten. Jayna was taken to be assessed by a veterinary specialist by the fosterer. There is no bone damage, nor pain and, except for limiting Jayna’s jumps a bit, she can do everything she should and does it at high speed. She can run and climb as well as her feline friends, but will probably not be jumping up on counters or other high places. Jayna likes soft toys she can beat up and run around with as well as interactive play with people using a wand or wide ribbon toy. Jayna cuddles when she’s played out some energy and has a loud happy purr. She’ll eat whatever she’s offered, wet or dry, with a slight preference for chunk or shreds textured wet food.
