Adam is a 6-year-old neutered male yellow lab. Adam weighs 55 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.DESCRIPTION: Oct 21, 2019: Adam was seized by animal control for neglect. This poor boy weighed 18 lbs when he was brought in . The nice folks at the shelter spent a lot of time and money getting him healthy and on his way to a healthy weight. He is currently 55 lbs but still needs to gain up to about 65 or 70! Adam is doing very well at his foster home, slept nicely in his crate, no accidents in the house and plays nicely with the other dogs. He knows lots of basic commands and is so very sweet. He is a bit shy but will be fine once he gets to know the house and his surroundings. He loves to race around yard with his foster siblings and even jumped right in the pool so he loves the water! Adam is good with other dogs, unknown with cats and approved for kids 10 and up.This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and North Carolina. Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.Lab Rescue LRCP has between 40 - 80 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org. If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process. An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a home visit is required.
