Dodge is an amazing horse and truly for his young age has the soul of an old horse. He still gets ornery being young but overall his gentle soul will make you fall in love with him. He is an off the track thoroughbred with hunter /jumper experience in the show ring and at training. He performs cross rails, polls and with my 16 year old daughter they were up to 3ft high jumps. His picks up quickly and lead changes are on point as well. This horse is adult and kid friendly and ready to go! He trail rides in a group or will gladly venture out alone. Heâs quiet and steady moving. He will walk along and soak in the views or he will effortlessly move out into a trot or canter. The breaks are also good! He is 100% ok with wildlife, woods, water, traffic, bikes and even tarps. You wonât find an obstacle that will phase him.He listens to corrections and helps the rider fix them on cue. He will be a great jumper in time with his ability to learn fast and his height. He also is great a trail riding and does not spook easily. Trailers well without issues, a bit jumpy with his shoes but nothing to be worried about. Loves to have his tail and mane braided and lots of love, especially big hugs.
