Meet Miss Piggy, a 12-year-old, 8-pound, female Chihuahua. Miss Piggy was found all alone, abandoned in an apartment with no food or water, and taken to the local shelter. PupStarz was able to punch her ticket to freedom, quickly getting her into a foster home where she could heal her aching body and mend her broken heart. Miss Piggy is now a mellow and friendly gal who gets along well with everyone she meets. She loves being around people and enjoys the company of other dogs. Miss Piggy prefers to be approached tenderly so as to not become startled. She enjoys pets on her head and scratches behind her ears. She regularly burrows up in her favorite dog bed to snooze away large portions of the day. Miss Piggy rarely barks, but will let out some squeaks when she is unsure of where you are in the home and craving attention. Great in a carrier – Miss Piggy handles buses, trains, and cars like a pro. She is also a big fan of her doggy stroller. She enjoys short walks outside and walks well on leash. Miss Piggy typically prefers to do her business outside, but will use pee pads regularly as well. She does not have separation anxiety. She is not too keen on crates or pens. She does not shed. Miss Piggy is a total foodie and the least picky eater you will ever meet. While wet food is easier for her to consume, since this old lady only has a handful of teeth left, she is open to and interested in anything you have to offer. She enjoys peanut butter spread across her lick mat or served up in her Kong. If you are looking for a tiny companion who is sweet, slow-paced, and loves a good snack, Miss Piggy is your gal!
