Dot is a female Labrador Retriever mix, weighs 53 pounds and was born approximately 9-15-17. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative, dewormed. She received life-saving treatment for heartworm disease. She will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative for life, as is recommended for ALL dogs, and retested in 6 months to ensure she is heartworm free. Adoption fee is $350 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care.IF THIS PET IS STILL LISTED ON THE DOLLY'S LEGACY WEBSITE, THIS PET IS STILL AVAILABLE as that website is updated daily. We are a foster-home based rescue group and do not have a facility. We are 100% volunteer staff. All communication is done via email AFTER your application has been submitted. PLEASE be sure to answer all questions completely or it will delay processing, be sure to include vet phone#. Since all of our pets are in foster homes and not a facility, we hold adoption appointments once a week on either a Saturday or Sunday, during scheduled time period. We need ALL family members or those living within your home, to be present for an appointment. Preference is given to those with a verifiable veterinary reference and home ownership, although generally not required. Home ownership is verified through court records.
