Hi my name is Cookie. I have the right name because I am as sweet as can be. I am a very happy girl who is always wagging her tail and 'smiling'. I do not meet a stranger. I am 8 years old and I weigh 17 lbs. I am a dachshund mix but no one can figure out with what. It doesn't matter though. I don't even think about it. What I think about is that I am so lucky that Miss Peggy and Critter Cavalry came to my rescue. I was taken to a rural Tennessee shelter because I needed an operation and my family couldn't or didn't want to pay for it. I had some mammory cysts. They have all been removed and I am now recovered from my surgery. I am ready to find my happy forever family who will love me and make sure that I continue to wag my little tail and smile. I would be an excellent family dog and think that I would be fine with younger children just no toddlers to be on the safe side. I could be an only dog or I would be a great companion for another small dog. I love other doggies and live with several right now. I am also good with cats. So if you are looking for a small loving dog to join your family then you have found her in me. I promise not to disappoint you. When I had my surgery I was spayed, received all my shots and I was microchipped. So all you really have to do right now is to love me. I promise I will love you immediately.
