Finley aka Finn is a 20 month old Terrier mix (best guess is Norfolk, Border or Wheaten Terrier). He is an absolutely beautiful dog and currently weighs 27 lbs. Finn was found as a stray wandering the streets all on his own. A nice lady befriended him and took him in and he joined a rescue with the promise of a better life. This snuggle buddy has energy to burn. He loves playing in the water & swimming. Once he's all tuckered out he loves nothing more than to cuddle on the couch with you. He is exceptionally sweet and submissive with his human best friends. Finn is a very quick learner & responds very well with positive reinforcement. He's still very young, learning lots of new things and may need some redirection from time to time. He is shy when he meets new people and has a tendency to show that by barking at strangers. Once he's gained your trust he is your new BFF and the most loving boy ever. Finn can be a little dog selective as he tends to prefer the ladies. He enjoys playing with dog toys & will play with his canine buddies if it is a female dog. He would make an excellent addition to a home with another female dog or as an only dog. He has done great with the kids he has met but he might accidentally knock over a little one, so older children living in the home would be best. A secure fenced yard is required. Finn is leash and house-trained, and also does well in his crate for short periods. Finn is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and microchipped.
