My name is Yua and I am a brown tabby domestic shorthair. I am a spayed female and I am 1 year and 2 months old. I am at the shelter because I was found as a stray on 02/15/2023. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I am friendly towards men, women, and children over 8 years old. I cannot live with dogs and I cannot live with other cats. Shelter staff would describe my personality as playful, very sweet, and affectionate.All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
