You are looking at a Super solid project 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible. This is a true SS but the cowl tag and vin-plate do not reflect that. It was wrecked in the side about 30 years ago. A Friend of mine and a friend of the former owner ended up with the car and started rebuilding it. He had cut the body in half. The tail section had no damage from the accident and the frame was not hurt. He had started putting another cowl and floor pan on the car and then he passed away and his son ended up with the car. It sat in a barn until I got it a few months ago. I had been trying to buy it for years. I did not like the cowl section that he was putting on the project and I bought another body with a good cowl and floor pan and had it installed on the tail section .
