The craftsmanship is second to none. This is one of the cleanest most well kept and restored Power Wagons you will find. This vehicle has been cared for meticulously to maintain the originality. The truck comes with spare parts that for years were tracked down all over the country. We are a private owner looking to simplify the man cave and show room, that is the reason for selling. Someone else will enjoy this piece of Art more than we do.40 years were spent collecting different parts for this Power Wagon, and finally in 2015 the body, fenders, all nuts and bolts etc were removed, and the frame and body parts were sand blasted and epoxy painted. The rear end housing came from a 1942 weapons carrier with larger brakes and drums. All leaf springs were taken apart and sandblasted and epoxy painted with new shackle bushings & pins. Front drive train has new king bearings, new wheel cylinders, brake shoes, bearings and seals w/ drums turned. Both ring and pin gears have little wear on them and look great. New master brake cylinder with vacuum booster hooked up to 12 volt electric vacuum booster. All new brake and fuel lines installed. New custom aluminum gas tank was built to org spec. Motor is a later 251 cu. in, .40 over, balanced with .270 cam and custom made 2 carb 1 Barrel intake manifold. Exhaust manifold was split for dual exhaust. Transmission is a 5 speed new process with new large custom clutch and pressure plate and fitwheel surfaced. Custom jack shaft to N.O.S. New process 2 speed transfer case. All new V- joints. All new electrical harness was installed to 12 volt with a battery kill switch on the left side of the driver seat. Fog lights and back up switch is located under the left side of the steering column. Rear tear drop box is a welded frame with red ribbon wood being Sapele Mahogany with curly maple panels. The inside floor is cherry, maple, and walnut, in a cube cut. The cab dash and door panels are curly maple with ebony inlay The dash gauges are Stewart Warner. Windshield wipers are 12 volt. All new glass installed with felt and rubber. The steering column is tilt wheel with a custom curly maple steering wheel. Has power steering. Original radiator has been gone through and never overheats. Radio has many speakers w/ 100 amp booster and Xm hook up. Center arm in between seats lifts up & down for drink holders.
