With only 2,994 ultra low actual miles from new, this gorgeous example may be the finest in the world. There were only approximately 50 manual 6-speed Vantage V12 coupes imported, so it is safe to say that this is an extremely rare carThis Aston Martin was purchased new in Atlanta, kept in a climate controlled showroom and driven sparingly. Car has been serviced through Aston Martin with a brand new full size Interstate battery and a fresh set of Michelin Z rated Super Sports have been installed. Fuel pump replaced just before my purchase by Aston Martin.The paint is special ordered and is called Stornoway silver metallic (with pearlescent) and the interior is black leather with cream leather inserts. Every panel in the interior is leather including the entire dashboard, the entire seats from front to back, entire door panels and even the rear partial shelf. The leather is sumptuous and exudes the highest most luxurious standard. The carpet is the highest quality British Wilton wool. The all leather interior aroma is intoxicating and is overall exquisite. Additional interesting information. This car's transmission is the world class Tremec T56 6-speed manual shift. It is the same style that is used in Corvettes and modern Mustangs. Shifting is smooth and precise. When time comes, changing a clutch is easy and straight forward by simply removing the transmission (a normal style transmission)...unlike the DB9's with a torque tube that requires several people to man handle and removal of rear suspension components which takes days. This DB7 V12 vantage has a standard style clutch that lasts and lasts vs. the DB9's undersized clutch that may last only 10k miles at best (an inherent problem with the DB9 unfortunately) depending on your driving style. This old school style transmission (and the last of it's kind in modern Astons) is the best bonus of this car from a mechanical repair aspect...and is added to the positive experience of DB7 ownership. Think of this as Aston Martin meets Carroll Shelby. Involvement with Ford in this era had some great benefits. The car has always been in the Atlanta and central Georgia. It has never had any salty road exposure and most likely has never been driven in the rain. Hardware on the underside still looks new. The paint is flawless, as in no chips, dings, dents or repairs whatsoever. All rubber and glass is as new. The MSRP was over $150k. For those of you who want to refer to NADA or auction valuation, this car won't be there because it's just lumped into a sea of "used cars", mostly convertibles with automatic transmissions. Hagerty valuation guides has an updated valuation which adds 25% for manual transmission, but does not take into consideration preserved condition and ultra low mileage of this example. She's in a league of her own always being treated as a "collector's item". She's as new. She has one of the most desirable and most elegant color combination and has the "right options" as per expert opinion. All Aston Martin books, brochures and records are included and are as new condition. This car is for the pickiest of collectors who want the very best.
