The ceramic fibers in Lux reflect heat back into the body as far infrared rays (FIR). FIR expands blood vessels and increases circulation, allowing the body to fuel working muscles and repair damage more efficiently. The 11 oz.stretch lycra slicker hood is ceramic infused and has a full separating YKK zipper and a soft fleece cuff inside the nose band. The slicker hood helps increase flexion by relaxing and soothing achy muscles in neck, shoulder and wither area along with relieving tension in the poll area. The LUX slicker hood can be worn to warm and relax muscles prior to activity or post-performance to help muscles recover. We do recommend that you increase treatment time gradually.
