All thegauges and lights work as they should. Clean undercarriage withsingle muffler and dual dual exhaust pipes, clean and solid trunkcompartment. Lots of new parts including new clutch, electronicignition, plugs, wires and battery. 87,000 original miles. TheTriumph TR6 was introduced in 1969 as a successor to the TR250 andTR5 models. It featured a new body design by Karmann of Germany,but retained the same chassis, engine and running gear as theprevious models. It was powered by a 2.5-litre straight-6 enginethat produced 104 hp and 143 lb-ft of torque in the US market,where it was fitted with dual Stromberg carburetors instead of fuelinjection due to emission regulations.The TR6 was a popular modelin the US, where it sold over 76,000 units from 1969 to 1976. Itwas praised for its handling, performance and timeless styling. TheTR6 was discontinued in 1976, and replaced by the TR7 in 1977. Itremains one of the most sought-after classic British sports carstoday.This specific car is in overall very nice original condition,with no rust, and only a few minor imperfections of the paint asshown. Car appears to have had one repaint done before the currentowners purchase of the car a few years ago. The engine runssmoothly and the transmission shifts well. The interior is cleanand comfortable, with no tears or stains. The convertible top is ingood shape, with no leaks or holes. The car has been regularlyserviced and maintained by a professional mechanic. Comes withTonneau and car covers.
