This 1934 Packard Eight Convertible Sedan is the beneficiary of anolder restoration and is ready to be driven all summer long! 34 Packard Convertible is the famousPackard 320 Cubic Inch L-Head Inline 8 cylinder engine paired witha Stromberg single 2 barrel carburetor that was said to havecreated 145 horsepower when new. The 320 Straight 8 is backed by a3 speed manual transmission that is shifted using a floor mountedshifter. This 1934 Packard Convertible rides on a set of widewhitewall bias-ply tires on wire wheels with Packard Eightcloisonne hubcaps that give this True Classic a truly iconic look.Braking is provided by vacuum-assisted mechanical brakes in allfour corners which was quite the novelty back in 1934. A pair ofside-mounted spare tires are tucked beneath decorative sidemountcovers with side-view mirrors which was one of the few optionsavailable on the 11th Series Packards. Sitting atop the rearmounted luggage rack is a period-correct trunk so that you cantravel with all of your belongings in style. The manually operatedbeige cloth convertible top is in wonderful condition and is tuckedunder a matching boot cover when down. All four crank up windows,and the crank up glass divider window, are in excellent conditionand work great. The body on this 1934 Packard Convertible Sedan hasbeen refinished in a beautiful period correct tri-tone paint schemeconsisting of Ascot Maroon with a Black beltline with Tan accentstriping and the fenders were refinished in Black with matching Tanstriping. The interior on this 1934 Packard Eight Convertible isgorgeous! The front and rear bench seats have been reupholstered inBurgundy tufted leather that gives this Convertible Sedan a trulyluxurious look and feel. The matching burgundy door panels withburl woodgrain accents, woodgrain dash, and steering wheel are allin wonderful shape as well and appear to be in their stockconfiguration. The dash is equipped with a 120 MPH speedometer, oilpressure gauge, temperature gauge, amperes gauge, gasoline gauge,clock, cigar lighter, and controls for the sensitivity control onthe vacuum-assisted brake system.
