I am the third owner of this great 1997 528i. All of us are over 50. Non smoker car. Always "lived" in the immediate Greensboro, NC area. No rust what-so-ever, no accidents This car was special ordered from Germany for a member of the Roush family. It was shipped directly to Crown BMW in Greensboro, NC Total price was $44,545.00 I have the original window sticker. For options, it has the premium package(3450.00), a glass moonroof(1050.00) and a fold down rear seat(575.00), as well as the ski pass through arm rest. When I asked the second owner what was unique about the car that caused it to be special ordered, he said that the Aspen Silver with Grey Leather combination was not available on the cars being sent to the US at the time. Plus the rear seat backrest (left side or right side or both sides) folds down flat on the seat cushion thus providing a full size passthru from trunk. THE TIRES ARE BRAND NEW....LESS THAT 200 MILES ON THEM ....and they are the correct size. THE CLUTCH DISC, PRESSURE PLATE AND THROW OUT BEARING IS BRAND NEW... LESS THAN 200 MILES ON IT AS WELL. (engine oil and filter and transmission oil change at the same time... (always run on Rotella) over $1700.00 worth of air conditioning work done a few years ago by Korman Autoworks in Greensboro by the second owner... I have a manila folder stuffed with maintenance and repair receipts done over the years. EVERYTHING is still there. Owners manuals and zippered holder, tools, jack, full spare, rechargeable BMW flashlight in the glovebox, new owners cassette tape, both original keys (each with built in remote...that unlock the doors AND open the windows and sunroof). There is a built in cassette player in the dash but the cd player in the trunk quit and the second owner threw it away. The mount and wiring connection is still there. This car is extremely clean inside and out. 179,123 miles....but it still looks like and runs like a car with 50,000. I have a lot of pictures that I can send. I would not worry if my wife was driving it to California, as it needs nothing. $5300.00 call my cell phone if interested 336.254.XXXX 9am-9pm ....
