55 Chevrolet Belair 4 door This is a mostly all original 1955 Chevy Bel Air 4 door with it's original first generation V-8 265. It is in very good condition from top to bottom, in and out. I have done much of the restoration process myself and the rest was by a local classic restoration company. Story of the car is that it was a one owner car when I purchased it and was kept in this family from the time it was bought in Burlington, NC. I actually got the chance to speak with some of the family members that had fond memories of this beautiful car. I even found original service receipts, oil change, muffler repair, etc. One paint job in it's life since the manufacturer job and was in 1970 by a local company in Burlington. Found it as they had left it when they sat it in the garage years ago just to age. Things that have been done to the car within the last 6 months (keep in mind anything that was changed or replaced has been saved to go with the car when sold, all the way down to the original oil filter canister): All Parts are NEW... Brakes Shoes Brake Hardware(springs, etc) Brake Master Cylinder Original Carb with Rebuild (2 bbl rochester) Brand new 2 bbl rochester built to car spec Chrome Window Visors Chrome Hood Ornament Glass Pack Dual Exhaust Interior redone just before I got the car New Glove Box and Trunk locks and keys Transmission Mounts Oil Pump Fuel Pump Valve cover Gaskets Oil Pan gasket Oil changed many times to clean out motor but never flushed. Proffessional service for New Lifters and Tuning Last oil change was original style oil with zinc additive Fuel tank Sending unit Lines were cleaned before installing new tank New fuel filter New oil lines and some fuel lines Wiper Blades Rear light lenses Breather with chey emlem Hope I'm not leaving anything out!!! Minor issues: Fuel Gauge not registering Dent in Front Bumper Rear bumper coating coming off and slight rust New carb not installed yet This car runs excellent and sounds great.. A very smooth ride with factory power steering and power windshield wipers. The worst thing I find when driving it regularly is that the carb tends to drain back to the tank and starting is not instant after sitting for a little while,(2 to 3 turn overs instead of 1) New carb will repair this issue.(Included) The car has the original mileage shown. Let me know if you want more information and pictures...I have it all available. Love this car and if an offer doesn't come that's high enough I will just keep it until the finances/WIFE says otherwise. !!!!MAKE ME AN OFFER!!!!
