I have decided it is time to let my beautifully restored Harley Davidson EL go. It was a 3+ year restoration project and was finished approx. 2-1/2 years ago. I have ridden it on occasion since. This bike runs perfect. The bike was not judged, but would be considered period modified because of the handlebar set up and the paint choice. I am sure it would score in the high 90+. I will attempt to list as much info as I can, you can message me with any questions you may have and I will be happy to answer. I am a 30+ year member of the AMCA.The speedometer stopped working at the mileage shown, I have replaced the broken inner speedometer cable. The motorcycle has approx. 750 total miles since it's restoration. >All sheet metal is original, painted Police silver, single stage.>Motor is 61" stock bore and stock cylinders and heads.>Left and Right case line bore numbers are matching.>Original 48' frame.>Original 48' springer front end, last year of the springer!>Original 48' Windshield Mint Condition! Impossible to find another one!>6 volt>Original Tank Badges>Original fender light>Correct hubs, black painted rims and stainless steel spokes.>48' speedometer restored by John Bordas>48' transmission/kicker cover (code F8)>50' handlebars and risers with period (Atlas) bronze tree (very rare!)>NOS fender trim>NOS footboards and pads.>Period "Bird" J-Slot air cleaner and matching derby cover.>Original Carburetor M-35>Original Generator 32E>Period matching generator end cover, timer cover and cutout relay cover.>Coker tires, correct tread pattern.>Accessory Choke lever thru the dash.>RL steering damper lever (one year only) very cool!>Beck period accessory lights mounted under the seat.>Exhaust and muffler ceramic coated, Carl's Cycle Supply.>NOS seat pan recovered by Worsham Castle.>Saddlebags 48' correct with orange piping by Osprey Limited.>All correct plating including Cad, Parkerizing and chrome.I have a few extra parts that go with the bike. I am also including an original 48" Spare Parts Catalog, 48' Price list,48' Accessories Catalog, 48' Atlas Aftermarket Catalog and November 1947 Enthusiast Magazine with the 48' Announcement bikes for 48' in it! All are in excellent condition!
