The Dart remained extremely popular through the end of the Darts production run in 1976 in comparison to the Ford Falcon and the Chevrolet Nova. New options for 1965 Dodge Dart included upgraded suspension components and larger 14 in wheels and tires, as well as disc brakes, which required the 14 in wheels to clear the calipers.
