For 1965, the interior features newtrim of durable expanded vinyl with a more subtle texture in blueto match the body color.It has individual twin bucket-type seats that have a factorybolster-like design for more seating comfort and better lateralsupport and the blue theme extends to the carpet, door panels, anddual sun visors as well as floormats.The blue matching instrument panel has controls for theair/heater/defroster located on it along with the electrical clockand radio controls and vent controls that are located under theinstrument panel on each side of the steering column.It has a matched speedometer and tachometer that are the primaryinstruments in the Sting Ray with an electrical fuel gauge,electrical coolant temperature gauge, ammeter, and an oil pressuregauge.It also has the head-light switch, cigarette lighter, head-lampretractor switch, hood release, and four-position ignition switchthat completes the instrument panel with the great factory woodsteering wheel also.ExteriorThe styling changes on our 1965 Sting Ray were beautiful and ourshas been restored and repainted in a correct Nassau Blue, (code FF)paint verified by the Trim Tag, to gain back that as new originalbeauty.The styling on our 1965 Sting Ray is beautiful with the louversbehind the front wheels that help increase air flow through theengine compartment, giving it both an aggressive and sophisticatedlook, the Corvette and Stingray emblems, chrome front and rearbumpers, taillights, door handles, the flip-up gas cap, side gills,and it still retains the original aggressive stance.ConclusionEvery once in a while you may find a Blue Chip investmentmatching-numbers mid-year Corvette.
