This 1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet has been registered in California for the majority of its life and was modified during previous ownership with later-style bodywork and lighting. The car is finished in metallic blue over gray leather upholstery and is powered by a 3.0-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a retractable dark blue soft top, 18″ chrome wheels, aftermarket fender flares, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, power-adjustable front seats, and a Pioneer AM/FM CD stereo. The car was acquired by the seller in 2016, and subsequent service involved a transmission overhaul, a pedal box rebuild, and replacement of the throttle linkage bushings and starter. This modified 911SC cabriolet is offered with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean California title in the seller's name. The car is finished in metallic blue and features a retractable dark blue soft top, aftermarket integrated fender flares, and a 964-style rear wing, bumpers, side skirts, front fog lamps and turn signals, and taillights. Additional modifications include 993-style headlights, aero mirrors, and a “basket handle” third brake light. Scratches are visible on the bottom of the front bumper, and other blemishes are shown up close in the gallery below. Aftermarket 18″ chrome wheels are mounted with 225/40 Falken Azenis tires up front and 275/35 Nitto NT555 tires out back. Stopping power is from black-finished calipers over vented rotors at all four corners. The cabin features 993-style power-adjustable front bucket seats trimmed in gray leather with a dark blue dashboard and striped door panel inserts. Amenities include power windows and door locks, cruise control, and a Pioneer AM/FM CD stereo. Work carried out in July 2021 included adjustment of the power windows, and the ignition switch was repaired in November 2021. The pedal box was overhauled with replacement bushings in May 2022. The black leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The six digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added during current ownership. The 3.0-liter flat-six was factory-rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. Service carried out in May 2022 included replacement of the starter and throttle-linkage bushings. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle that was overhauled in February 2018 by 911 Design of Montclair, California. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California from an initial entry in 1992 until the most recent update in February 2021.
