1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa This 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa is finished in black over matching leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six mated to a G50/01 five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential and an M930/25 engine. Just tuned by Porsche specialist Glenn Murrel, this car moves like melted butter -- smooth and creamy like you're driving the best car you've ever driven, because you are. Equipment includes a removable targa roof panel, European-style rear bumper guards, whale-tail oil engine coolant system, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and an upgraded stereo system with boom box. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quartz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles, 15k of which were added by the current seller. The air-cooled 3.2L M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and produced 214 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. I have personally driven the car at 120mph in 2017. Manufacturer's literature and service records are included in the sale.
