THE STRATEGY SEEKING AWESOME BASSIST

Bass player needed for established rock band.

The Strategy is a 5 piece rock band from San Jose, CA (vox/guitar, guitar, drums, synths/keys, and BASS)

We're currently in the studio with Mike Gross from Novice/The Mess (myspace.com/sixgunrecordings)

We've opened up for some notable bands such as Mayday Parade (Fearless Records), I Am Ghost (epitaph Records), Meriwether (Suretone, Interscope, GVE), We Shot the Moon, The Lives of Famous Men, Bidwell, Street to Nowhere, The Hanks, Karate High School, and Novice.

We're pretty much a relaxed band that get along, and have the motivation to grow and make awesome music for our listeners. Our current influences include A Day To Remember, Yellowcard, Attack Attack, etc...

What we look for in an awesome bassist:
1. Someone down to earth and easy to get along with.
2. MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY OWN INSTRUMENT LIVE AND IN STUDIO.
3. MUST BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 and 25.
4. CAN PROVIDE OWN NECESSARY GEAR AND EQUIPMENT TO PLAY INSTRUMENT
5. Reliable and available (we practice mon, wed, and fri [tentative])
6. MUST AHVE OWN SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION (our studio is in san jose, ca)
7) Once officially in the band, be open to contributing equally financially to the band
8) It's a plus to have experience (school band, other bands, --we encourage you to send us links, videos, mp3s)
9) Share similar influences and open to writing music with.
10) Share same goals, enthusiasm and motivation we have.
