Have you always wanted to learn how to play the violin?
Does your child play the violin in the school orchestra and you want them to achieve excellence, get ahead of the class, or catch up?

We can help!

Come for one-on-one lessons at Muse for Life. You'll get violin lessons from a violinist who has been playing for 18 years. The student will learn technique as well as specific musical pieces. We can also work on any music you would like to learn, such as popular music, music from orchestra class, or any other print music you'd like to be able to play. Reading sheet music is like learning a language. You'll learn it here. Scales are also covered, which when learned, enable the violinist to improvise, allowing them to play by ear and play to their favorite songs. Group lessons are also offered.

Beginners, kids and those with special needs are all welcome! You can learn fresh from the start, or come in to perfect your bowing, fingering, positions, intonation of notes and overall tone quality to sound like a competent professional.

Practice is of course required outside of lessons, but you'll know what and how to practice before you leave.

If you have any questions on what size violin to buy or rent, if your violin is in working order, advice on your violin, etc., stop by and I can advise you on what you may need before the first lesson.
