This publicly held diversified chemical company with sales and operations in the United States and in more than 100 countries worldwide is currently adding additional local route drivers at their Memphis, TN terminal. This Fortune-500 company provides innovative products, services and solutions to customers around the globe.

Overview
Drivers deliver solvents, oil, flammables, combustibles and corrosives via tanker or dry van. Drivers are required to load and unload trucks by hand, pump or pallet jack. Drivers average 0-15 stops per shift, working in the warehouse when no deliveries are necessary. Drivers will be required to operate a forklift while working in the warehouse. Employer will provide forklift certification. Drivers work Monday thru Friday with rare weekend work. Shifts typically start at 7:00 am each day. Drivers average 8-9 hours per day. Uniforms and work boots are provided by the employer. Paid training is provided.

Compensation
$16.72 per hour to start
$18.58 per hour after one year
Annual average salary $35,000 - $41,000 to start

Requirements
CDL A
2 years tractor-trailer experience required
“H” (hazmat) endorsement
“N” (tanker) endorsement or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire
HS Diploma or GED required
Good MVR
No felony or misdemeanor convictions
