Job Description:
TSO Mobile, a leader in wireless fleet management, is looking for a Customer Support Technician (CST). The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, service-driven, reliable, dependable and flexible regarding scheduling.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
• Answer a high volume of incoming calls, emails, and chat.
• Provide quality service by comprehending established procedures and continued education on product knowledge and troubleshooting
• Ability to program units
• Installation and reinstallation units in vehicles
• Verify installations troubleshoot devices and issue return authorizations as needed
• Resolve and respond to customer support email, chat and call inquiries
• Basic administrative duties as needed; i.e. database updates, installations & maintenance
• Process routine transactions for customers
Skills & Qualifications:
• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding and ever-changing environment
• Experience in handling escalated calls.
• Exercises attention to detail, good judgment, and follow-up.
• Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
• Knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good Understanding of standard Internet research practices utilizing Internet Explorer and/or Firefox browsers
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and network skills.
• Must be able to work well both individually and in a team environment
• Self-starter with excellent time management skills
• Stable work history
Preferred Skills
• 1-2 years experience in a call center environment
• Experience with technical support for software and/or hardware
• Experience troubleshooting GPS and/or Cellular Devices (Telematics Industry)
Education/Experience:
Some college or degree would be preferred. Technical Certifications will also be considered.
Work Schedule:
Operational hours are M-F 9 am to 6 pm, and some weekend days and holidays, Schedule may vary depending on business need.
