Salary: depends on experience Location: Cleveland OH

This facility specializes in vacuum heat treating and brazing of aerospace
components; Quality system certification includes: Nadcap, AS9100, and ISO
9001:2000. This challenging hands-on position requires a disciplined,
self-starting individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced,
multi-task environment.

Emphasis is placed on servicing established accounts and the development of
new business. The successful candidate will focus on planning, developing,
and implementing strategies for generating revenues and assisting with
problem solving. This position directly impacts company's quality, service,
productivity and profitability. The position reports to the Business
Development Manager.

Position Requirements:
. BS/BA degree or equivalent job-related experience.
. Sales skills and aptitude such as selling a service, understanding market potentials, understanding the competition, building and maintaining partnerships.
. Technical knowledge and expertise such as principles of heat treating, practical application, equipment functionality.
. Knowledge of financial understanding such as price negotiation, profit margin, budgeting and managing expenses.
. Leadership skills such as planning and project management, team development, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
. Travel required.
This position is Salaried Exempt and is Full-time.
Salary commensurate with experience.
A physical exam, including substance abuse testing is required.
Dominant duty is outside sales servicing existent customer base. Always interested in new business development and diversity with customers.
Territory predominantly local, but do have customers as far as CA. 90%
business aerospace heat treat or brazing.
Must reside in area. No budget for relocation.

This position reports directly to the Business Development Manager.

REQUIREMENT:
1. BS/BA degree or equivalent job-related experience.
2. 2 + years sales experience.
3. Technical knowledge in principles of heat treating or very similar metals industry experience.
4. Local to Cleveland or close enough for a short move and willing to self relocate.
