Technical Manager—Chemical Manufacturing

A Fortune 500 chemical manufacturer needs a Technical Manager for its Rockland, ME facility. This person will be a key member of the management team and will specifically focus on Continuous Process Improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:

+A BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; MBA preferred
+Working knowledge of business finance
+Demonstrated ability to supervise independent professionals
+5 or more years experience in a chemical plant environment; experience with carrageenan/alginates preferred
+Demonstrated use of Lean, Six Sigma and similar processes
+Proven ability to proactively drive projects to completion on time and within budget
