Sr. Web Technical Analyst, Global IT

Description

Join our journey in leading a world-class transformation of Owens Corning’s Web, Portal, and Collaboration technologies where you will have an opportunity to provide insight into the vision for our web and portal environments and assist in the continuous development in the long term and short term technology roadmap.

The candidate we are seeking must have a proven experience leading large enterprise level web and portal projects, partnering across the organization, critical path planning, and time/cost management. A successful candidate must also have a proven technical aptitude, showing the ability to understand and discuss Internet technologies and architectures; preference around .NET and SharePoint platforms. This role requires experience delivering applications that interface with backend systems (e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft).

The successful candidate will be able to work well in a diverse and global team including on-shore and off-shore co-workers and external providers.

Qualifications
• 8+ years, Information Systems experience
• 8+ years, Internet Technologies and Architecture
• 5+ years, SharePoint Portal Platform
• Technical expetise in Web architecture and design principles, Web Services / SOA, Sharepoint, and .NET platforms
• Understanding of middleware and integration technologies
