All Medical Personnel is seeking Medical Assistants in Westerly/Wakefield, RI to work in a clinic setting as a Specimen Processor.

Key areas of responsibility for supervising all aspects of the urinalysis procedures through daily interaction with clinic staff and patients.

1)Compiling a list of the patient’s medication by consulting his or her medical chart.

2) Collecting demographic information from the patient such as age, weight, height, gender, and last medication was administered.

3) Processing sample from patient, clearly labeling the sample and requiring the patient to sign the label.

4) Preparing shipping documentation and properly packing sample for UPS pick up.

5) Taking inventory of sampling supplies and ordering when necessary.

6) Maintaining a high level of accuracy in all documentation

All Applicants must have have six months of healthcare experience. This position is a PRN position.

1) Clinic Professional appearance and demeanor

2) Good organizational skills and attention to detail

3) An entry level background in the medical field

4) Can communicate effectively with both clinic staff and patients

5) Works well under minimal supervision
