Job Description: Software Design Engineer

Duration: This is an estimated 3-12 month contract position

Location: Redmond, WA

Experience: 4+ Years Experience in Commercial Software Development is Required

You will be working on a team to help them deliver key middleware technology components using the next version of Windows CE.

These components consist of:

* A set of interactive techniques which allow computer or mobile users to control a graphical user interface with more than one finger at either application or system level.

* Data synchronization - both mobile and PC.

* Messaging architecture for mobile powered devices.

Job Requirements:

Software Design Engineer Qualifications:

* 4+ years commercial software development experience in:

o C/C++ - coding and debugging skills

o Win32 - coding and debugging skills

o Windows CE

o Platform Builder

Any candidate need to be very strong in

- Data Structures

- Algorithms

- String Manipulation

This is the backbone for any interview

SDE - Design patterns and Approach is very imp

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams is required.

* Bonus Skills: Synchronization, PIM and user experience technologies and UI application experience.
