We're holding auditions for a short film that will be used independently and as a promotion for our feature length project - an action/drama. The short will be filmed in the South Jersey area (Cherry Hill, Pennsauken, Moorestown), so only respond if you'll be able to make it to the locations.

Auditions will be held on November 1st, as we're expecting to film by the weekend of November 14th or the 21st. Location will be provided upon email contact.

The short film basically follows the path of a group of people who - through unfortunate circumstances mostly beyond their control - have a common need for money. They turn to robbery, intending not to harm anyone initially, but then make a mistake one night and an entire family is murdered. Already tortured by the reality of what they've done, the group is then pursued by the consequences of their actions.

The short film has a very low budget, but actors will be compensated with credit in the short and the feature film. Those with good attitudes and work ethics will also be considered for hiring in the feature, which will be a paying gig.

We are also looking for an Assistant Director, and naturally if the person chosen does a good job and works well with Ryan(Director) and the rest of the crew, she/he will be hired to work on the feature when it starts.

Roles:

Loco - Hispanic male any age between 24 and a more youthful looking 46. Loco has been battling a drug addiction for years, is antsy most of the time, and has wild eyes.

Buzz -this character specifically has to be able to display an array of powerful emotions from anger to fear.

Rain -*This role MAY be available, depending on the status of the actress currently assigned to it. Auditioning actresses may be given another part* Hispanic female lead of the short. Rain is a young mother struggling to be able to provide for her children. She's a caring person, but has learned to be tough from what she's endured throughout her life.

The Gosselin Family - (A Caucasian Family) Father Terrence (40-55), Aunt Lisa (25-40), sons Michael (16-22) and Eddie (15-19) Ability to portray fear essential.

Gangsters - Stunt or Stage fighting capability preferred by not essential. Positive attitude is a MUST.
