Service Technician – Austin area

Responsibilities:

• Repair laundry equipment in assigned territory, primarily Maytag, Whirlpool laundry equipment
• Repair card systems when necessary
• Maintain and manage adequate inventory of repair parts in the service vehicle
• Maintain vehicle in orderly fashion
• Interact with customers in a pleasant, professional manner
• Assist with occasional delivery of equipment
• Provide preventive maintenance when time allows
• Travel when required

Requirements:

• Must have valid drivers license with good driving record and excellent driving habits.
• Must have good credit
• Must live in Austin city limits
• Must have at least 1 year minimum experience in washer/dryer repair
• Experience with oversized laundry equipment preferred
• Gas, electrical, plumbing and venting knowledge and experience
• Able to lift/move a 100 lb. piece of equipment
• Good customer service skills
• Able to maintain proper paperwork and records
