The University of Tennessee Health Science Center seeks to hire a Senior Power Plant Operator to work in the Department of Mechanical Services. The Senior Power Plant Operator will be responsible for operating a high pressure boiler plant and chiller plant.

THE WORK HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 7:45 A.M. - 4:45 P.M.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or GED; 2 years experience assisting in the operation of high pressure boilers in excess of 15 PSI, maintaining and repairing building heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and supporting mechanical equipment; Shelby County 1st class steam operating license; ability to lift 75 lbs. and to climb and work from ladders for an extended period of time; ability to crawl and work in small, confined spaces; valid TN Driver's License.
