Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer

We are only looking for local SF Bay Area candidates for this job right now as we are not in the position to relocate anyone-thanks!

You’re Role

* Learn to maintain and enhance the Pillar HIW test process by working with our Mfg, HIW, and SIW engineers.
* Interact with the contract manufacturer and local manufacturing floor personnel to provide training, test support, and initial SIW Test FA.
* Become proficient in Ionic scripting language (in-house tool) and process ECO paperwork to release tests to the CM.
* Maintain and create Test Process Instructions to support testing changes and new HIW.

Main Duties

Debug and solve complex system problems. Enhance the existing Manufacturing Test infrastructure.
Work with Contract Manufacturers to transfer and support Manufacturing Test processes.
Participate in reviews to analyze, enhance, and develop Mfg tests for legacy and newly designed hardware.
Work with manufacturing genealogy in database and test logs. Support product quality by analyzing manufacturing trends.

Minimum Education:

BSEE or equivalent Minimum

Experience:

5 years

Knowledge:

* Manufacturing Engineering Test Software experience required
* Must be familiar with Oracle SQL, TCPIIP networking.
* Working knowledge with Windows, MS Office, and Linux/UNIX, Previous script programming experience. * * C/C++ Windows MFC, BASH, and Perl programming is a plus.
.* Analytical/Interpersonal Skills:
* Team player, excellent communication and documentation skills, detail oriented
* Travel: Travel: 5%
