Responsibilities

The role will directly support a director of planning and analysis in the Corporate Finance business. The ideal candidate will have roughly 2-4 years of prior experience in a business analysis function or similar role.

The role will include:-Prepare analysis of divisional and departmental financial performance including variance analyses. -Assist in preparation and presentation of annual financial plan, periodic forecasts, and monthly MD&A. -Develop and implement new techniques for financial analysis incorporating economic data, market information, and business unit financial information. -Ad hoc financial reporting including pulling information from multiple databases -Work directly with business unit operations in the development of productivity measures. Perform sensitivity analysis for management. -Research, resolve and communicate complex accounting or reporting issues as they arise. -Assist in the consolidation and analysis of monthly financial results. -Responsible for the setup and design of complex multi-year revenue analysis. -Recommend and implement process improvements identified in day-to-day work. -Perform various analyses to assess the impact of financial strategies on the financial position and operating results of the Corporate Finance business.

-Highly motivated -Detail oriented -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have the ability to interact will all levels of the organization -High-potential -Must be able prioritize and follow through on tasks -Proactive self-starter and ability to work effectively with limited guidance -Must be able to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced and multitasking environment -Able to develop creative solutions to complex issues Requirements: -Bachelors degree; 2-4 years work experience -Intermediate to advanced Excel skills -Ability to work well under tight time constraints, adapt to change and think through and resolve issues in a timely, accurate and efficient manner -Must have knowledge of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements -Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase a plus.
