*Job Description: Summary: Responsible for promoting and selling natural gas, electricity and related energy services profitably on behalf of Aspen Energy Corporation to commercial and industrial customers in an assigned geographic area.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Conduct daily customer visits or calls to promote and sell natural gas, electricity and related energy services profitably on behalf of Aspen Energy Corporation.
· Understand customer needs, explanation of product and service offering, explanation of proposed benefits to the customer, negotiation of the sale and preparing contract documentation for accepted sales proposals.
· Report sales deal information for monitoring and management of sales obligations and performance results.
· Monitor accounts for any changes in customer needs.
· Assist in developing creative concepts to obtain and generate new business in local geographic region.
· Maintain awareness of competitive environment, keep abreast of gas marketing trends and current pricing strategies, understand LDC tariffs.
· Assist in the development of sales objectives for assigned territory, provide creative input into product and service innovation.
· $24k-$38k 1 yr. training salary - converts to residual commission based off natual gas and electric meter reads (Meeting sales goal will increse a Senior Energy Consultants annual residual income by $60,000-$125,000/year). There is no cap on earning potential.
Qualifications: · Ability to understand customer needs and clearly communicate products’ benefits and offerings.
· Ability to organize, prepare and present professional sales proposals to customer when needed.
· Ability to communicate and negotiate the sale of products and services effectively to customer.
· Ability to interact and communicate effectively with team members; maintain integrity and a professional image on the job.
· Knowledge of basic computer skills; maintain an organized and resourceful database of sales leads on a daily basis.
· MUST have at least two years PROVEN prior inside sales experience.
