Description:

Responsible for the overall technical architecture and design of internetworking solutions, addressing the customerâs business needs. The Network Architect performs comprehensive discovery analysis and definition of client issues, documenting implementation in the form of a technical (âBlue-Printâ) solution. The Network Architect will possess requisite skill sets enabling him to design leading edge solutions containing a wide variety of technologies. In addition to the Network Architectâs core discipline, the architect must be knowledgeable in multiple focus technologies to include telephony and security.

- Provide consultation and design services (Cisco IPT, UC)
- Determining scope and developing proposals
- Provide pre-sales consulting support
- Coordinate installation, migration, consolidation, and support plans
- Ensure all projects delivery a quality product, on schedule with a completely satisfied customer
- Develop high-level professional relationships with customer â ensure Presidio is delivering the required service(s)
- Documentation for configurations and processes

Requirements:

- 5+ years experience in the network industry
- Detailed knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies
- Cisco CCNP or CCIE
- Detailed Knowledge in Multiply Operating Systems (Microsoft, Unix, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to recognize business opportunities
- Willingness to travel

Preferred Requirements:

- Bachelor in Computer Science or Business with equivalent experience
- Industry Certifications (CCIE, CCNP, CCDP, MSCE, SUN)
- Vendor Certifications (HP, Cisco, Compaq, SUN, IBM, etc.)
- Pre-Sales support experience
- An individual who through past experience can demonstrate a self starting, highly motivated attitude
