The Canyon Newspaper headquartered in Beverly Hills is looking for motivated sales reps to work from home in Buffalo (and its surrounding areas).

The goal of our publication is to report the truth in news without any political bias. Because of our growing popularity, our company is expanding to your town. We currently have 2-3 openings for highly motivated sales executives and entry level sales reps to work from your home office for our existing publications until the newspaper in your area is launched in Winter 2010.

This position requires you calling up local businesses (in our coverage area) to see if they would like to purchase advertising space in our paper.

Our sales team is driven and spirited and looking for the same. You must be able to work without supervision. You will work from your home. Make your own hours. Be self-disciplined when it comes to working. We offer health benefits and the option to relocate after 6 months. This position is COMMISSION based pay.

WEEKLY COMMISSION:
1 ad=10%
2 ads=20%
3 ads=30%
4 ads=40%
5 ads=50% (If quota is met) If quota is not met 10%-40%.

SALARY:
Full Time (35 hours or more) Ad Reps make $700-$1400 weekly.
Part Time (at least 2 hours per day) Ad Reps make $500-$700 weekly.

Current Open Positions:
Part time (at least 2 hours per day)
Full time (35 hours or more per week)

AFTER you reach quota for 60 days Reps are offered a phone extension
linked to our main system with unlimited long distance, health benefits, and a base salary plus commission (amount of base salary is contingent on performance up to that date).

People without experience usually take 6-12 weeks to learn, but have the same average. There is great opportunity to advance within the company.

Preferred candidates will have:
- advertising sales experience (ENTRY LEVEL accepted, so long as you have patience and the motivation to learn)
- cold calling experience (or the ability to learn quickly)
- must be entrepreneurial in spirit
- the ability to build relationships effectively
- experience with constant deadlines (preferred but not mandatory)
- must be able to work independently
- must have a phone with unlimited long distance
- (preferred) basic understanding of how to use a computer
- (required) you must have 3 verifiable references that we may contact.
- (required) you must not have been convicted of a felony.
-You must be available for training (first 30 days) from 8AM-9AM (PST) Mon-Fri
